helpful hints: dressing up a salad

February 5th, 2009 - by

Salads can easily turn boring if you don’t try new ways to dress them up often.  You can easily turn an ordinary salad into an extrordinary salad with a few fresh ingredients.  I added fresh strawberries, granny smith apples, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges and toasted almonds to spinich and romaine leaves.  I topped it all off with some rotisserie chicken and delicious poppyseed dressing, and I believe it is the tastiest salad I’ve ever had.  Your family will love this sweet and colorful salad and will ask for it every night.  Try it for yourself!

Oh my goodness, I was looking around for a salad to bring to a potluck and envisioned mandarin oranges, apples, and dried cranberries but couldn’t quite figure out what else to do to finish it off. This was exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
