As early as it may seem, what with snowfall and low temperatures still going strong in the Rockies, the beginning of strawberry season in the U.S. officially begins in February. Thus the appearance of the delicate little fruit every 14th of February. It may also be the reason they begin to have strawberry sales at grocer’s this time of year. The height of Utah’s strawberry season is during June. Utah even has an annual festival in Pleasant Grove, Strawberry Days. You’ve been noticed in advance, so you have no excuse to miss it now.
