I made mine too! I wish the layers were thicker but now I know for next time! I set my layers in the freezer, it was quicker and the layers did not blend or break at all!

My mother always made the cloudy layers by whipping slightly jelled jello and then folding in a little bit of whipped cream. It has a nice texture and isn’t rich at all.

My husband’s family serves this every Christmas Eve. We’ve grown to more than 50 so who ever gets assignment the “12 LAYER” jello knows they better have their Christmas shopping done by the 22nd ’cause they got a lot of jello to make!
