March is national nutrition month. I’m not sure about you but I am always finding more nutritious foods and dishes to add to my never ending queue of recipes to try. I have a number of favorite food blogs and websites (this one included) that offer healthy and delicious meals, do you have a favorite?
This year the national nutrition month theme is “nutrition from the ground up”, what does that mean to you? For me it means building a food foundation of sustainable, whole, and natural foods that originate from a healthy, thriving and unpolluted source. Such foods should and can be the basis and beginning of our food choices.
Here are a few recipes that will be a great addition to any menu; they’re wonderful combinations of taste and natural whole foods. Please leave a comment with a favorite healthy recipe, I’d love to hear them!
