test kitchen: roasted red pepper with lobster

April 26th, 2010 - by

Our new Roasted Red Pepper with Lobster recipe has been hanging our test kitchen for a while now.  We’ve served an excellent Roasted Red Pepper recipe in the past, but we knew that we could make it better…and that is exactly what we did.  We took an existing recipe that was good, and made it great.  We focused on implementing a creamy consistency paired with the rich flavor of lobster.  We were surprised that a few small changes could make such a big difference.  Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of our new Roasted Red Pepper with Lobster soup serving at all of our locations starting today through May 8th.

My husband and I stopped in (by recommendation from a friend) at your new location in American Fork, UT. We ordered the Roasted Red Pepper Lobster Soup and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and suggested Asiago Cheese on top. That soup alone has made us customers for life.

The company I work for decided to order lunch one day from Zupa’s and when I went to pick up our order, the amazing cashier (Matt in the Cottonwood Heights area) offered us a sample of the Red Pepper Lobster Bisque while we waited (and a free drink during the wait!). I fell in love- the best soup I have ever had! Matt even suggested that you can take it home, thicken it up, and make it into a sauce to put on top of noodles. Amazing idea!!

I don’t even like lobster and I LOVED this soup. That’s how good it was :)

This soup is from heaven, and is made of pure love. “Wow” is all I can say to describe what I remember about the depth of flavor, the mix of spices, and the lobster, oh my. It was SO good. But, for me, it never lasted long enough to make sauce or anything else out of it. I’m drooling just thinking about it. Gotta bring this one back, please!!!

I am not a soup person by any means. I figured I’d try this because of the lobster and I immediately fell in love! I took some home to share with my family who all loved it as well, including my three year old daughter! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back!!!!
