World Tour: Prizes Next Week & Spring World Tour

We’re excited to report that the winners from the Fall World Tour will be announced on Tuesday, Jan 31st! The Grand Prize is a getaway for 2 to New York City. We’ll also have other sweet prizes, like gift cards and travel gear.

The Spring World Tour has launched, so make sure to try our new soup, the Texas 3-Bean Beef Chili, and get your passport stamped. When you collect all 10 stamps, you can enter to win a trip to the Caribbean!

Fall World Tour Passport Deadline + Spring World Tour Preview!

Thanks to everyone that has participated in the World Tour! Remember, this is the last week to turn in your filled passport. This can be done at any Café Zupas location. If you need a bonus stamp, you can sign up for one on the bonus stamp tab of our Facebook page. All World Tour rules of play are listed here.

Also, starting Monday, you can start working on a new collection of stamps that will earn you free food and a chance to win a trip to the Caribbean. We’ll start in Texas with 3-Bean Beef chili, then head to France for the French Onion Soup. In March, we’ll even hop over to Ireland and celebrate St. Patrick’s day with the Irish strew. And, ever heard of the Indian soup Mulligatawny? We’ll, you’ll have the chance to try it and many more soups very soon!

 

Phoenix Grand Opening Winners

On Saturday, January 7, we had a blast with all of fans at the Café Zupas Grand Opening party on 1935 East Camelback Road. With 50% off on everything, a new $25 gift card winner every 15 minutes, a $100 gift card winner, and a chance to win free food for a year, it was a great day to be at Café Zupas!
Earlier in the week, we also had a great time with residents of the neighborhood who came in to enjoy specials and more chances to win gift cards.

New Year’s Cider- Part 2- Orange

New Year’s day is fast approaching, and many of us are ready to celebrate with family and loved ones.  Often with a new year come many resolutions, and often times our new year resolutions include eating better!

Here on the Café Zupas blog, we try to share with you recipes with the freshest ingredients and amazing taste!  So, we hope that you include the Café Zupas blog in your quest to eating better this new year!

Here is a fun recipe and a great fresh way to start your New Year!  Sparkling orange juice!

All you need is equal parts fresh orange juice and sparkling water, mix and you have yourself a bubbly fresh new year’s beverage!

recipe: hazelnut dark chocolate bark with grey sea salt

There is really something special about the salty and sweet combination.  I have noticed a big trend of pairing sweets with sea salt!   And, from what I tried, the combination does not disappoint.

If you are looking for a last minute idea for a quick and easy holiday treat, I have the perfect recipe for you and it only has three ingredients!   All you need is dark chocolate, hazelnuts, and grey sea salt!

It is the perfect way to spread some holiday cheer!

recipe: italian sausage wild rice and vegetable soup

I love when a good soup just comes together with ingredients you have in your fridge!  I had a few vegetables that I needed to use up this week, and I threw just about everything in the pot!

I love the taste of Italian sausage in soup.  Italian sausage has all sorts of amazing spices inside, so when it is browned and put into the soup, it adds a great flavor!  I decided to throw in some wild rice in the end, and it really made it a nice hearty soup!   Something you could easily eat for dinner with some nice crusty bread!
