Nuts About Berries

You won’t just go nuts about the berries; you’ll go nuts about the nuts.  Blended together with a sweet dressing glazed with a pinch of cinnamon make this a great first date salad.  It’s a good mood salad.  You could almost call it desert.  And when the lettuce is all gone, you’ll want to lick the bottom of the bowl. Go ahead!  No one is looking.

I am in love with this salad. Sadly, I have moved out of state and there is not a Zupas here. Is it possible to buy a big container of the dressing and have it shipped to me or something? :)

Ditto Margaret’s comment. I’m leaving Provo to go to Idaho Falls for the summer and am very sad that there is no Zupas there, please please open one there!!

I love this salad and (like Lynda) would like to purchase the dressing and cinnamon almonds so I can indulge myself when I can’t get from So. CA to your restaurant. I’d like more than one restaurant in my area, one close to work and one close to home.

    Poppy Seed dressing
    Ingredients

    1/3 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup white vinegar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
    1 teaspoon grated onion
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1 tablespoon poppy seeds
    Directions

In a blender or food processor, combine sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard and onion and process for 20 seconds. With blender or food processor on high, gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream. Stir in poppy seeds.

I second all the people who want a Zupas in Idaho! Idaho Falls would be great, Rexburg is a college town, I’m pretty sure Zupas would do great in either city!
